What is Baler Twine?
What is baler twine? Baler twine (also called baler string, bale twine, or bale packing twine — in Persian نخ بیلر / نخ عدل بندی) is strong agricultural yarn used to tie compressed bales of hay, straw, silage or forage after a baler forms them. In Iran, نخ عدل بندی is another name for the same product as نخ بیلر.
What is a baler / bale? A baler compresses crop into square or round bales (عدل). Without baler twine / bale packing twine, bales fall apart and cannot be moved or stored safely.
Modern baler twine is usually polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene: high tensile strength, low weight, uniform diameter and UV resistance. Barzegar is Iran’s reference manufacturer of baler twine and bale packing twine for Claas, John Deere and New Holland balers, with exports across Europe and Asia.
